2013
Bellwether was founded in El Segundo, California in 2013 by Dennis Grzeskowiak and Joseph Mossotti, beginning with an engagement for Oaktree Capital's real estate group. Over time, the firm has grown to become a full-service advisory platform for real estate investors across global markets.

Every service line at Bellwether has been shaped by client needs. What began as asset management extended into underwriting, portfolio management, construction, accounting, and corporate advisory as clients brought new mandates to a team they trusted. Each capability was added in service of a single objective, delivering the highest possible standard of work for our clients, and the platform has grown as a result.

Since inception, we have invested in and evolved our technology to enable our teams to do more — aggregating data across portfolios, automating routine work, and delivering real-time analytics and institutional-quality reporting at scale.
